An Uneventful Week in the Studio

I've swapped flowering plants for Christmas trees in the studio. (Does someone have a Cyclamen thumb? If so, tell me what I'm doing wrong, my poor plant is going bald.)

Sadly, I've been busy swapping lots of things for Christmas trees this week so the Bernina has remained in bed.

And the cutting table's been clean as a whistle. (Oops, is that a little Christmas tree out in the hall? Okay, so sue me, there's still a few trees to put to rest.)

But I did come up to the studio tonight to spend a little time laying out the bottom halves of the hearts for the Valentine's project. I'm going to try to get them stitched together tonight before bed.

Tomorrow night is the Return To Happy Night with the neighborhood ladies, (at my house, which thankfully got a lot of cleaning action this week) so no sewing happening until Saturday. And since this is a 3-day weekend, it's a good time to get started on the Fiesta BOM. A bit of cutting, and a goal to complete the first block. Anyone want to join me? I'll be blogging my progress, so be sure to check back this weekend to see how it all comes together.

Enjoy your Friday. If you get to stay home and sew....lucky you!
