So, I'm looking at the calendar this morning and I see
e·piph·a·ny /ɪˈpɪfəni/
[ih-pif-uh-nee]
–noun, plural -nies.
a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
Okay, I'm game.
Today was a telecommute day. Nothing startling on the workfront.
I started undecorating Christmas, no big intuitive flashes on how to do it better next year occurred during the tedium of packing things up, or during numerous trips to the basement.
Surely, something will come to me.
Does this count? The lame suspending over the honeypot collection of a silly plush Valentine's bee that plays 'Bee My Baby' when squeezed? I found it in a drawer while undecorating. Now, if only I'd have an epiphany about where I stashed the rest of the honeypots when I put them away to make room for gingerbread houses.
Speaking of which
Dillards proved that they do not suck. The house came from Colorado yesterday, and Flake arrived directly from Beyers Choice today. Thank you Dillards.
Well, I've got to go shove aside some of the tissue paper I'm using to wrap nutcrackers in, and lie down for the next 10 minutes in case there's an epiphany hovering, just waiting to slap me upside the head.
I'm hoping it's going to involve South African Indigo.
Merry Christmas to All

Love your honeypots!
ReplyDeleteMaybe with your eyes shut you will come to one?
ReplyDeleteDoes last night count? I had an epiphany to what was weighing on me. No epiphany to a solution but hey, beggers can't be choosers, right? lol
ReplyDeleteI hope you get yours soon and it's a fun one!
ohh - great that you received your Gingerbread house and Flake so quickly. Nice. I'd still be waiting.
